The story of LA OCULTA is woven with threads of passion for fashion, transmitted through generations. This zeal, inherited from Stella, mother and grandmother of the brand ́s founders, is the result of more than half a century of dedication to the art of sewing, a legacy which is reflected in each of the brand’s pieces.
LA OCULTA was born in November 2021, with a foot in Kenya and the other in Colombia, countries where its two creators -Catalina and Sofia- live. Initially, it was a shared hobby and a pandemic adventure, but it rapidly evolved into a company with great ambitions. The brand’s originality allowed it to start its journey in 2022, attending various fashion fairs in Nairobi and Bogota. Since then, it has left its footprint in multi-brand shops in latitudes as diverse as Bogotá, Cartagena, New York, California, Kenya, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
In 2023 LA OCULTA was part of the Latin American Fashion Summit, a regional platform which has given wide visibility to the brand. Today, LA OCULTA continues thinking big, aspiring to grow by showcasing and connecting cultures through fashion.
